Your mission

  • Monitor the status of the factory network and associated systems, identify abnormal changes or bottlenecks, and propose suitable solutions.
  • Implement and manage network-related projects and engineering tasks, ensuring stable and secure operations.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot the factory network infrastructure to maintain high availability and performance.
  • Analysis, identification, and remediation of security-relevant vulnerabilities in systems and applications.
  • Documentation of IT and security processes as well as creation of guidelines and instructions for users and IT colleagues.
  • Coordinate helpdesk activities and provide technical support to users in the factory environment.
  • Research, evaluate and promote new technologies that contribute to the continuous improvement of our network landscape.
  • Support the promotion and implementation of the ISO 27001 information security management system and execute measures in accordance with the company’s occupational health, safety and environmental standards.
  • Supporting the introduction of new IT projects and technologies with a particular focus on security requirements and network architecture.
  • Monitor the operation status of the server and handle basic issues.

Your profile

  • Completed training or a degree in computer science, information technology
    or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of experience in IT system administration with a strong focus on network environments, preferably in production or factory settings.
  • Solid understanding of network technologies and protocols, including routing,
    switching, VLAN, firewalls and VPN.
  • Practical experience with monitoring, troubleshooting and optimizing industrial or large-scale network infrastructures.
  • Experience coordinating helpdesk activities and supporting users in operational environments.
  • Understand the concepts and configuration of RAID.
  • Knowledge of information security standards such as ISO 27001 is an
    advantage.
  • Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style combined with
    strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent English skills, both spoken and written. German is a plus.
