Manufacturing Process Technician (m/f/d) – Jülich

Your mission

  • Define, document and maintain production processes, including PFMEA, control plans and operational SOPs.
  • Support new product introduction activities by defining assembly and test fixture concepts, performing setup and verification.
  • Create and optimize dispensing paths for key processes such as nano coating and gap filler, and debug AOI equipment programs.
  • Analyze abnormalities of test fixtures and investigate test-related defects to support stable production quality.
  • Perform statistical analysis of test equipment data, including MSA, CPK and CGK, to ensure process capability and stability.
  • Conduct daily production preparation activities, including equipment checks to ensure readiness and proper operation.
  • Support troubleshooting, adjustment and repair of equipment and replace parts as required to minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate with equipment suppliers and engineers to report issues and improve equipment performance and stability.
  • Work closely with engineers to support data collection, adjustments and continuous equipment improvement activities.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks in line with maintenance plans.
  • Ensure equipment areas comply with 5S standards and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Support daily production coordination, including participation in morning meetings to review previous results, plan daily tasks and communicate requirements.

Your profile

  • Completed vocational training or technical education, or a bachelor’s degree in electronics, mechatronics, computer science or a comparable technical field.
  • Initial professional experience in factory automation, assembly or test equipment engineering is required; strong graduates with relevant practical exposure are also welcome.
  • Practical understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly and test operations in a production environment.
  • Ability to analyze ECU/MCU/IVI of EV car quality issues related to products or test results and support corrective actions.
  • Basic to solid understanding of equipment operation, maintenance and simple circuit analysis.
  • Experience working with production equipment, fixtures and automation systems.
  • Structured, hands-on and reliable working style with strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to work closely with engineers, technicians and production teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident use of standard Office applications.
  • English skills sufficient for communication in an international manufacturing environment.
  • Chinese language skills are considered a strong advantage.
