Junior Test Engineer (m/w/d) mit Schwerpunkt Server-Hardware

Ihre Aufgaben

Arbeit mit bestehenden Testsystemen sowie schrittweise Mitarbeit bei der Erstellung und Weiterentwicklung von Testautomatisierungen.
Unterstützung bei der Prüfung hardwarebezogener Komponenten in Entwicklungsprojekten und
in der Serienproduktion durch Planung, Durchführung und Dokumentation von Tests in unserer
eigenen Testplattform.
Aufbau, Betrieb und Pflege von Testumgebungen, die Produktionskonfigurationen abbilden, mit
Unterstützung erfahrener Kollegen.
Unterstützung bei der Analyse von Testfehlern und Mitarbeit an Ursachenanalysen in enger
Zusammenarbeit mit Entwicklung und Produktion.
Technische Unterstützung der Produktion bei testbezogenen Fragestellungen sowie Mithilfe bei
der Analyse von Software- oder Systemproblemen.
Unterstützung bei der Einführung neuer Produkte in die Produktion sowie bei Validierungs- und
Produktionstests.
Aktive Mitwirkung an der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung von Testprozessen mit wachsender
Erfahrung.

Sie verfügen über eine solide technische Grundlage und möchten sich in die Rolle des Test
Engineers entwickeln? Sie müssen nicht alle Anforderungen von Anfang an erfüllen. Wenn Sie die
richtige Einstellung und grundlegende technische Kenntnisse mitbringen, unterstützen wir Sie aktiv
bei Ihrer Weiterentwicklung.

Ihr Profil

Abgeschlossene Ausbildung oder Studium im Bereich IT, Elektronik, Informatik oder eine
vergleichbare technische Qualifikation (z.B. IT-Systemelektroniker, Elektroniker,
Fachinformatiker) oder ähnlich.
Alternativ eine ausgeprägte technische Grundqualifikation mit praktischer Erfahrung und der
Motivation, sich in die Rolle des Test Engineers zu entwickeln.
Erste Erfahrungen in den Bereichen Test, IT-Systeme, Hardware, Produktionsumfeld oder
Testautomatisierung sind von Vorteil, aber kein Muss.
Grundkenntnisse in Linux sowie Interesse an Systemadministration und Fehlersuche.
Erfahrung mit Skriptsprachen oder Programmierung (z.B. Python oder Bash). Alternativ die
Bereitschaft sich diese Kenntnisse anzueignen.
Kenntnisse im Netzwerkbereich (z.B. Switch-Konfiguration) sind von Vorteil.
Interesse an Hardware, Server-Systemen und technischen Abläufen in einem
Produktionsumfeld.
Strukturierte, sorgfältige Arbeitsweise mit Blick für Qualität und Dokumentation.
Fähigkeit, eigenständig zu arbeiten und gleichzeitig ein Teamplayer zu sein.
Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse für die tägliche Zusammenarbeit, Deutschkenntnisse sind von
Vorteil.
Hohe Lernbereitschaft, Eigeninitiative und Motivation zur kontinuierlichen fachlichen
Weiterentwicklung.

Your mission

Working with existing test systems and gradually contributing to the creation and further development of test automation.
Supporting the testing of hardware-related components in development projects and in series production by planning, executing and documenting tests on our in-house test platform.
Setting up, operating and maintaining test environments that reflect production configurations, with the support of experienced colleagues.
Supporting the analysis of test failures and contributing to root cause analyses in close collaboration with development and production.
Providing technical support to production for test-related questions and assisting in the analysis of software or system issues.
Supporting the introduction of new products into production as well as validation and production tests.
Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of test processes as experience grows.

You have a solid technical foundation and want to grow into the role of a Test Engineer? You do not need to meet all requirements from day one. If you bring the right mindset and basic technical knowledge, we will actively support your professional development.

Your profile

Completed vocational training or a degree in IT, electronics, computer science or a comparable technical qualification, for example IT systems electronics technician, electronics technician or IT specialist, or similar.
Alternatively, a strong technical foundation with practical experience and the motivation to develop into the role of a Test Engineer.
Initial experience in testing, IT systems, hardware, production environments or test automation is an advantage but not required.
Basic knowledge of Linux and an interest in system administration and troubleshooting.
Experience with scripting languages or programming, for example Python or Bash. Alternatively, the willingness to acquire these skills.
Knowledge of networking, for example switch configuration, is an advantage.
Interest in hardware, server systems and technical processes in a production environment.
Structured and careful working style with a strong focus on quality and documentation.
Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
Very good English skills for daily collaboration. German skills are an advantage.
High willingness to learn, initiative and motivation for continuous professional development.
